SizeTracker is a patent-pending size calculation and projection service that allows parents and gift-givers to find clothing that will fit a child now or at any point in that child’s growth.

Have you ever found yourself frustrated by how quickly your child outgrows clothing, how different brands fit differently, why sizes rarely match up to their age? The SizeTracker Blog was created to help parents, caregivers, and gift-givers navigate these issues and find clothing and shoes that are the perfect fit for a child.

The blog is intended as a resource for size information, brand and product fit reviews, growth trends, safety precautions, as well as tips for shopping for, extending the life of, and making children’s clothing. Specifically, blog articles will fall into the following categories:

In a nutshell, the purpose of the SizeTracker Blog is to help you avoid misadventures in children’s wear – be they wrong season, wrong size, outgrown too quickly, too tight, too short, unsafe, poor quality, likely to be returned, or any of the multitude of other size and fit issues – so that shopping for children’s clothing is easier, more fun, and in tune with your child’s unique growth.

The Writer

This blog is written primarily by me, Stormy Sweitzer, the co-founder of SizeTracker LLC, with occasional contributions by others.

For years, I have been interested in children’s things – from stories to toys to clothing – and started an online baby gift business a few years back to indulge these interests. While the store became more of a hobby than a viable business, I learned a great deal about the children’s clothing industry through this experience, as well as from my customers and suppliers, that led to the creation of SizeTracker and which are the basis for this blog.

My years of working in public health, as well as my love of sewing and finding deals, will also make appearances in my posts on finding children’s clothes and shoes that fit, making them last, getting the most for your money, and describing how children’s growth and development impact how clothes are designed and fit. I hope that you will share your experiences, as well.
